The Edible Schoolyard Berkeley is hosting its annual Plant Sale and Celebration this Saturday! Kickstart your summer garden and collect in-season fruits and vegetables. This green event hosts activities fun for kids and adults alike. Enjoy wood-fired pizza and food from your favorite local chefs and food purveyors while sipping on brews in the sunny outdoor beer garden. Kids will love listening to live music, getting their face painted, visiting the petting zoo, and strolling along through guided garden tours.

The Edible Schoolyard Project’s mission is to build and share a national edible education curriculum for students grades K-12. Gardens and kitchens function as interactive classrooms, showing students how to cultivate and create their own tasty meals. Their goal is to grow the reach of this curriculum to transform the health and values of every child in America.

Environmental Science Educator leads this hike through the Marin Headlands this Saturday night.
