The City of South San Francisco hosts a FREE annual Easter Egg Hunt for children 8 years and younger. Don’t miss a moment of the hunt! There are two separate hunts happening at once, one for ages 3-5, the other for ages 6-8. While there, your children will have a blast searching for eggs and hidden prizes. Don’t forget to squeeze in a visit with the Easter Bunny, and make sure to take lots of photos to capture the day!

The Kids Gym in Berkeley offers interactive fun for kids in this indoor playground. Throw in a little Easter Egg Hunt and you’ve got an unforgettable day! There will be over 1,000 eggs with treats and several valuable prizes, including Open Play passes to the Gym to inspire future fun times. Food will served, there will be face-painting, balloon twister, arts & crafts, plus music!

Novato offers an entirely FREE easter egg hunt! Head to Pioneer Park to join the fun. The day includes so much that will make your child smile, like a visit and photo opp. with the Easter Bunny (who’s got tons of easter eggs to share), bounce houses, train rides, a toddler fun area, and a jelly bean counting contest. Thank your local Novato family owned businesses for sponsoring the event and for the volunteer help provided by the Cub, Boy, and Girl Scouts of Novato.

4. Ponyo @ The New Parkway, Oakland

Come to this “Baby Brigade” matinee at the cozy, community movie theatre in Oakland. “Baby Brigade” is specifically set aside for parents with infants. Who says you can’t bring your baby to the movies?  Sit back and relax at this family friendly showing knowing that the audience understands that there are bound to be a few screams and cries along the way.

This week’s screening is of Ponyo, a G Rated film by Japanese animator and director, Hayao Miyazaki. The film centers around a 5 year old boy who finds a new pet goldfish on the beach. This goldfish turns out to possess magical powers that unleash a series of events that you’ll just have to come see to find out!

  1.  Pop-up Playdate @ Heather Farm Community Center, Walnut Creek

Pop-Up playdate is a perfect opportunity to play and socialize. This clean playspace located in the Heather Farm Community Center within the park provides a safe space for children ages 0-5 and their caregivers. This is a great spot to build community and connect with neighbors, as well as give your little one a chance to play with his/her peers in activities that fit the age group. The event is offered weekly, so you’ll have a chance to see the same faces on the regular!
